Has anyone else noticed that EMR seems to be much slower now after update to SP11?
Providers are complaining. It seems to take almost 10 seconds to open a note.

Yes we have noticed. For the bigger charts it takes a good 26 or more seconds.

We have not noticed any change in slowness, our large charts have always taken a while to open.

We have noticed too. Our larger charts are taking 26-28 seconds to open an office visit. About 3 times longer than normal.

And what do you all consider a large chart?
Are you going by amount of documents in the chart, large problem & medication lists etc...?

Large Charts For us it is Medications, Problems, Observation Terms, and documents. However we have been on EMR since 98 and by now most of our charts are big. Our oncology charts by far are the most observation term intensive with all the labs, treatments, and frequency of visits.

No, we've not seen slowness particular to 9.8.11. (hope that doesn't jinx anything).
One thing to check >> we removed the latest CCC 9.x Risk Factors form since that was causing big problems. Try removing that.

James, If you remove the Risk Factors form, how are you documenting those areas on that form? Are you just having users enter it in as they need it? We are on Basic v1.3 and ccc 9.1.
