We are running VFE on our Windows 7 desktops at MIMA.

Same here. We haven't had any problems running it on Windows 7.

VFE is compatible with Windows 7, both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

You just have to make sure that you have the EMR client installed on your computer otherwise it won't connect to the database.
