Is anyone using any type of product that will send transition of care documents automatically once they are created?
Thanks!
We use Automated Clinical Messaging from SureScripts. The product will send the TOC via direct messaging or fax.

My question is how is it finding the Direct Address? Via Sure Scripts Directory? If so, we are noting a vast majority of the providers we need are NOT listed in the Sure Scripts Directory. Are you using a different directory to find the addresses?
Also are your providers meeting the Measure for Meaningful Use (TOC Transmission) with this product?
Yes, our providers are meeting the MU measure with this product, but you are correct that not many providers are listed in the SureScripts directory. SureScripts can assist with this. If you have a list of the top providers to whom you refer, they can reach out to those providers to get them onboard.
Do the addresses have to be in the SureScripts directory to have the TOCs sent automatically? We have entered many Direct addresses not found in the SureScripts directory to the physicians' Personal Contact lists.
No we only use the SureScripts directory.
It is my understanding that the direct addresses must be in the Surescripts directory. Also, placement of the direct address within GE is important. The direct address must be listed under Service Providers in the "Secure Electronic Address" field. If the address is Organizational, the address must be listed under the Organization information in the email field.
